Joseph Buaron is an entrepreneur, investor, and technology innovator, currently Co-founder and CTO of goPeer, a thriving fintech start-up and Canada’s first regulated consumer peer-to-peer lending platform. Joseph additionally serves as Chief Strategy Officer to Loti Wellness Inc., a Canadian self-care consumer brand and on the board of Neptune Wellness Solutions (NASDAQ: NEPT). Joseph previously served as CTO to Unilever’s, Schmidt’s Naturals, where he led the technology, AI, digital marketing, and consumer support divisions through transition from start-up to enterprise, and through an acquisition by Unilever.

Prior, Joseph worked to scale a thriving fintech start-up, with focus on payment industry compliance and data security, and within the AdTech space to build one of the first AI/ML and big data programmatic ad buying platforms. In his early career, Joseph founded and was CEO of Future Point Inc., a leading web hosting solutions provider that was acquired in 2007.
