Noah works at First Ascent Ventures, a Canadian Series A+ investor founded in 2015 that invests in emerging Canadian technology companies that are building the next generation of disruptive, enterprise B2B software that leverages the cloud, big data, analytics, mobility, AI and machine learning. The founding partners of the Fund Richard Black and Tony van Marken have been involved with over 35 technology companies as founders, operating executives, advisors and investors.
As an Associate, Noah’s responsibilities include supporting due diligence effort and sourcing potential investments.
Noah has experience working in finance and technology, both in Canada and abroad. He was previously a summer investment banking analyst in the Diversified practice at UBS Canada. Noah also spent time in Tel Aviv at Deloitte Catalyst (formerly Innovation Technology Terminal), where he consulted for local start-ups and helped connect Deloitte’s global clients with Israeli technologies.
Noah graduated with an Honours degree in Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business at Western University. He graduated in the top 5% of his class and was awarded the designation of Ivey Scholar.
Noah is an avid sports fan. During his time at Western University, he merged his passions for hockey and analytics by providing volunteer consulting services to NHL and OHL teams.
