Dan Adamson is an expert on search, due diligence, fintech and cognitive computing with more than 15 years in the industry. He is an author and been featured in several publications including Information Week, Forbes, LegalTech, FCPA Blog, KM World, Canadian Business and Bank Innovation.
Adamson was the founder and CEO of Toronto-based OutsideIQ and served as the company’s CEO since its inception in 2010. In April 2017, OutsideIQ was acquired by Exiger, the global regulatory, financial crime, risk and compliance company. Today he serves as Exiger’s Global Head of Cognitive Computing. Under Adamson’s leadership and R&D expertise in the area of search and cognitive computing, OutsideIQ developed DDIQ and InsuranceIQ, used today by leading financial institutions, insurance agencies and multinational companies across the globe operating in heavily regulated environments. Prior to founding OutsideIQ, Adamson was a former Microsoft search expert and a technical lead for the Bing Health team and Health Solutions Search. He also served as Chief Architect at Medstory, a vertical search start-up that was acquired by Microsoft.
